Mike Gordon

Meet Dr. Gordon! He graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri, a proud member of the SEC, in 1976. He then moved to Southern California and practiced medicine for 20 years, during which time he owned his own practice for 10 of those years in Westlake Village. He moved to Naples, FL in 1999 and has been associated with Bonita Veterinary Hospital since 2000. Dr. Gordon, or Dr. Wonderful (as his clients like to refer to him!), is especially interested in helping geriatric pets and pets with quality-of-life issues. He is presently on the Board of Directors for Volunteer Services for Animals and has been for the handful of years. He also donates his time to the Shelter for Abused Women and provides care for their pets when they enter the residence. He has been their veterinarian for more than a decade! Dr. Gordon’s home is a refuge for several rescued animals. His best friend Pebbles, the Pomeranian, remains the bright spot of his days. Dr. Mike Gordon became a BLS and ALS Certified Rescuer in March 2022.
